The Atelier is adaptable, durable, and full of daylight. This garage conversion expands usability of the urban site, opening to the garden and creating an edge to a courtyard. By revising the roof structure, interior walls were removed, allowing the open space to be configured in many ways.

Interior plywood finishes, skylights, and a big sliding door transformed the humble garage from utilitarian storage to a warm, light filled studio and guest house that serves as the home base for long or short term visits, project retreats, or a home base for outdoor gatherings.
